Spending a month volunteering in Georgia has been one of the most exciting and heartwarming experiences ever! From meeting amazing new friends to exploring the beautiful seaside city of Batumi and Kobuleti for our on-arrival training and of course, trying every delicious bite of Georgian food — this month was packed with joy, learning, and laughter.
Meeting incredible volunteers ๐ค
One of the best parts of this experience was meeting other volunteers from all around the world. We clicked instantly — sharing stories, jokes, and a lot of “what did we just eat?” moments. It’s so special to see how quickly a group of strangers can turn into a little international family.
Where It All Began ๐ Our on-arrival training took place in Kobuleti, and honestly, it couldn’t have been a better start! Between the palm trees, the sea breeze, and the sound of waves, it felt like a perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. We learned, laughed, explored Batumi, and even had some spontaneous dancing moments (because why not?). Kobuleti’s energy and beauty set the tone for the rest of our journey.
Foodie Heaven ๐ฒ❤️
Now, let’s talk about the real star of Georgia — the food! Every meal was like a mini celebration. From fresh salads, cheesy goodness, and soft, warm bread — everything tasted homemade and full of flavor.
Everyday Moments ๐ฟ
When we weren’t volunteering, we enjoyed peaceful views and simply soaked in the Georgian sunshine. Every day brought something new — a new laugh, a new dish to try, or a new place to explore.
A Month to Remember ๐ซ
Volunteering in Georgia wasn’t just about helping — it was about growing, connecting, and creating memories that will last forever. The people, the culture, the food, and the friendships made this experience truly unforgettable.
